ICF file requirements

We check before your review starts:

  • Length: 20 to 60 minutes (ICF won’t score outside this)
  • A verbatim, speaker-labelled, timestamped transcript
  • An English translation if the session isn’t in English

Only you can confirm to ICF:

  • The recording is one continuous, unedited take. We flag obvious signs of editing but can’t certify this
  • Your client’s written consent
  • The accuracy of any translation

Length and transcript format are checked as you add each file. If one fails, you’ll see why below and can replace it before you pay.

Tip

Ask your client to confirm on the recording that they agree to it being used for your ICF application. ICF also requires their written consent.
